(1) Rajarshijanak University has been established for the study, teaching and research of art, science, medicine, agriculture, forestry, tourism, Ayurveda, law, management, education, oriental philosophy, technical, commercial and other subjects.
(2) The central office of the university will be in Dhanusha district.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in the existing law, Ramswaroop Ramsagar Multipurpose Campus, Janakpurdham, operated in Janakpur Municipality under Tribhuvan University at the time of commencement of this Act, shall be operated as the base campus of the University.
